Preview changes and fix errors before importing

What the preview shows

After you upload a file, Bulkvane reads it and compares it with your store. The preview lists how many items will be created, updated, deleted or left unchanged, and for each item, every field that will change — old value beside new. Nothing is written to your store at this point.

Errors, warnings and fixes

• Errors stop an item from being imported. That item is skipped; the rest can still be applied.
• Warnings are worth reading but don't block anything.
• Fixed means Bulkvane corrected a value for you, such as a decimal comma, and tells you what it will save.

Plan limits

If the file has more items than your plan allows per job, the preview says so before anything happens. Upgrade, or split the file.

Get an email when it's ready

Large files take a while to check. On paid plans, turn on “Import preview ready” in Settings → Email notifications and close the tab.
